Jorge Sevilla aka J-Sevilla hailing from Mexico City, is an aspiring young producer with a huge new wave influence back in his childhood. He admired artists and bands like Depeche Mode, OMD, Erasure, just to name a few. He felt insuperable passion for techno and progressive house as an adult, so he started a dj and producer carrier. As a producer he appeared on such label's roster like BCSA, Abstract Space, Underground Music, Mystic Carousel, Lynx, and now on Cloudy Moon Records. The Lights & Shadows EP - which is the 5th release on Cloudy Moon - contains two originals - Lights, Lights & Shadows - and three remixes written by Daniel Gomez, Phoebus and Ilias Kat. Lights in original mix impress us with a twisted arp melody which gives a decent taste to the whole track, and became an alfa & omega of the production. In Daniel Gomez was more in a laidback mood, selected a smooth house background for his ideas, he wrote a different melodic approach and just used the vocal and some additional samples from the remix pack. Phoebus created a powerful breakbeat version, with a creative usage of the original parts. Lights & Shadows is a tribal driven, euphoric piece, with a sinister feel in the melodic section. Ilias Kat merged his dreamy ingredients with the main production, tame the raw output into a floating journey. - Greyloop
